Agile Money – an agile compensation model

At the 2016 PM camp in Zurich I presented our agile compensation model (aka Merit Money) in a session called Agile Money. There was significant interest in new models that offer a fairer distribution of money within a company – although also considerable scepticism as to whether such models actually work. However, after having used this model in our company for six months, I’m able to confidently counter this scepticism. At pragmatic solutions, we monitor ourselves closely and self-management works.

I have no doubt that we have grown together as a team and support one another, and I have not encountered any disadvantages thus far.

After my presentation, I was invited to report on my experiences again at the next PM camp in 2017. I look forward to this opportunity and will post an update on this blog after the event.
